Donkey Punch
Last night I went to see my friend's band, Chooglin', at the Triple Rock. The band was great and the people watching was excellent.
Before the show I noticed a couple standing around listening to the bar music and rocking out to AC/DC like that was the evening's entertainment.
When the live music started, all hell broke loose. The couple hit the dance floor with a vengeance. Mind you, nobody else was dancing, but they were going for it like their drunkenness depended on it. It was kind of funny at first, but they started crashing into people pretty hard and acting like jackasses.
After about 10 minutes, a girl who looked like she just came back from a Suicide Girls convention finally had enough. She told the couple to settle down and the guy immediately got up in her face. Someone got between them because the guy went ballistic, telling her to shut the eph up, etc. Then, it happened. Our heroine reached around the man in the middle and punched the jackass in the face. He tried to stay and act tough for a little while, but finally just left without incident.
I think that's the first time while not watching COPS that I've seen a girl punch someone in the face. I loved it.
