I just saw the weirdest thing. I was driving down the street about 7 blocks from my house and the car in front of me jumped onto the median, smoked a couple of traffic signs and then kept driving like nothing happed. My instinct was to call 911 and follow the car for awhile, but I didn't. I was selfish and just wanted to go home.

I feel kind of bad now about not doing anything. I also feel a little sick to my stomach. What kind of person does that? Were they drunk? Were they a criminal on the run? Was someone hurt? I'm the worst. I should have called 911.

I'm not a big fan of guilt. You made the best decision you could when you had to make it. Maybe, when presented with a similar decision in the future, you'll make a different choice, but that doesn't mean your earlier one was necessarily wrong. Chances are, the individual driving the car, has his own ahhh issues. either he's work them out on his own or the state will remove him from being able to harm people (so goes the theory anyway). A lot of shit happens in this world. Beating yourself up about it doesn't make any of it go away.
