whoops
I am not happy today. I'm an idiot. I am setting up my new computer with SQL server and accidentally trashed my database. Thank god I had a backup. Unfortuantely, that backup is a month old. I hope that I can get back what was lost. If not, prepare for several posts to make up for lost time.

summer update
School is almost done for the summer. I can't wait. I have one final left on Tuesday and then that's it. I have a fairly big web project that should last through May and there are several other things that I plan on staying busy with. Mostly geek stuff and video games that I won't bore you with the details of.
Hirelogic
This man needs to be hired. My original post about him got deleted, but it's important enough that I had to mention it again. Dan is one of my personal heroes and an absolute genius. Put him to work.
Fdisk, party of two
After my SQL debacle this morning, I've had a minor success. I configured my first Win2k/Redhat9 dual boot system. It really wasn't all that difficult. I had to Fdisk around a little bit, but after that there was nothing to it. If anyone wants details, just ask. I'll spare the rest of you from the geeky details.
Walkin'
Took a walk around Lake Calhoun this afternoon. It felt kind of good to get outside for a change. I am going to try to do that every nice day this summer.
Let the music play
Apple has announced its much rumored music service. The facts: cooperation from all five major labels, 99 cent downloads, the freedom to use your download as you see fit. I am nearly convinced that Apple is showing us the future of the music industry.
