I apologize for my silence this week. It is not as if there has been nothing going on. I've been obsessed with learning Reason and making music again. I also had a small proposal for to write for a web project and have actually been doing some things that do not involve sitting at my computer all night.

It's been a busy week. I've been up very late each night writing music and beats with a friend in New Jersey. We've been teaming up over the web and phone. We're coming up with some great stuff and have had some incredible shouting matches. I'm not sure if I'll post any of this stuff before we pursue a legal copyright on all the material.
Tonight I'm off to see a Herbie Hancock concert with my mom.

It's really hard settling back into work after being away from the office for 5 days. Sometimes I think it might be better not have any time off to find out how good it is to be away. At least the new jay-z cd came out today and is giving me something to listen to.

Macromedia has announced its new content editing solution, Contribute. It seems like it might require a bit of time to get set up and to train users, but this could be a nice solution to let the web developer spend her/his time developing, instead of constantly making trivial updates to copy and content.

Wow! I got my hands on a demo of Splinter Cell tonight. I am blown away. I can't wait to get the full version on Wednesday. The lighting effects are mind numbing, as are the infared/night vision goggles.

I've been meaning to post this for awhile now. The quality of the photos at istockphoto has been getting incredible over the last several weeks. There has always been great stock photography over there, but recently I've been amazed on a daily basis. Their site admins have been doing an incredible job as well. New features are added frequently and the site has never looked better.

It was a great weekend. Friday night I went to dinner with a really cool person and watched Monsters, Inc. for the first time. It was a surprisingly great movie. Last night I took my grandma to a basketball game that I got great tickets to, courtesy of my friends at Designstein. Today I went to the new Harry Potter movie with the same person that I hung out with on Friday. Other than the severe bladder pain that I had for the last 45 minutes, it was really great. The Harry Potter movies really transport me out of reality, which is a pretty rare experience.
